RETURNS & CANCELLATIONS
In an effort to keep policy language simple and easy to understand we will refer to you as "YOU or CUSTOMER" and refer to Sew Lit Decorators as "US, WE or SLD".

Can I cancel an order?

We totally understand that sometimes things just get cancelled and if you need to cancel an order please contact us immediately and we will do our very best to help you stop the process.

Due to specialized services in art preparation and product customization, orders may not be cancelled or refunded once preparation or production has begun.
If SLD is able to cancel any part of an order, any cancellation or compensation given to the customer will be credited or refunded in a timely manner. Please allow up to 10 business days for the credit or refund to be applied back to your account.

My product is defective what do I do?

We hope that your purchase turns out absolutely perfect but if for some reason you feel it didn't here is what you should do.
​
Please inspect your order for defects immediately upon receipt.
In the event that you find an item is defective please notify SLD within 2-business days of order acceptance to express your claim.
Our friendly agent will help determine whether the proposed defect will require a return. Once your return is received and inspected an email will be sent to notify you on the status of your claim. All defect claims must be mailed back to SLD with any tags still affixed, in their original package, unused, in new condition and at customers expense within 5-days of order receipt.
In the event that items are returned that SLD deems not defective the customer accepts re-shipment of the items and allow for the re-shipment costs to be made to the original payment method.
If SLD is unable to make re-shipment charges to the customers original payment method SLD will inform you of the inability to reship the items and SLD will hold the items for 14-days before the items are considered abandoned and discarded.

What do I do if my product does not arrive on time, gets lost or damaged in transit?
Rest assured that your order will ship on time and we will pack it well, but if for some reason it's not there when it's supposed to be or it appears to have transit damage please do the following:

For delivery status and updates locate the email communication that includes your shipping details and tracking information or log in to your customer account at www.sewlitdecorators.com and locate your order tracking information. Track your package on the shippers website or contact your shippers customer service department for a more detailed status.

For shipment damage claims please either visit your shippers website and follow their claims policy or contact you shippers customer service department for claim assistance.

ARTWORK REQUIERMENTS
Worry free artwork preparation!
Making quality products begins with the creation of quality artwork. You may hear us refer to artwork quality as pixelated, blurry or
even fuzzy this means that we will need better graphics to produce top quality products for you. But don't worry!
If you are working with a graphic artist feel free to point the artist to this section to ensure that they provide you with artwork that meets the specifications detailed below.
If you need help creating artwork we got you. Just let us know and we will get started designing your best look.

How do I know if my artwork is good for my project?
For best results artwork, designs and images must be submitted in the following formats: .PDF, .AI, .PSD, .PNG, .JPG with a minimum of 300 DPI and CMYK color mode.
If you submit artwork that needs some polishing we will definitely contact you to express quality concerns.
SLD is NOT LIABLE or RESPONSIBLE for errors in submitted artwork that contains any of the following: Misspelling or Grammatical Mistakes. We DO NOT make changes to submitted artwork files.

SLD collects information from you when you place an order or fill out a form. When ordering you may be asked to enter or provide your name, e-mail address, mailing address, phone number or credit card information.

The email address you provide for order processing, will only be used to send you information and updates pertaining to your order. Note: If at any time you would like to unsubscribe from receiving future emails, we include detailed unsubscribe instructions at the bottom of each email.
How do we protect your information?
SLD implements a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you place an order. SLD offers the use of a secure server. All supplied sensitive information is transmitted and encrypted into the secured merchant services gateway & database only to be accessible by those authorized with special access rights to such systems and are required to keep the information confidential. After each transaction, your private information (credit cards, shipping address, etc.) will not be stored on SLD's servers.
